“St. Eustachius, Patron Saint of Hunters, pray for me, give me strength, make me stealthy, give me a steady hand, and help me to bring down my prey. Help me find SOME way to trap Dusten.” The answer to my petition came in the form of two desk workers, Katie Barr and Mike Marshall. This account deserves an explanation.

Finding out that Dusten was my next target was a little like when the prof tells you that you need a 99% on the final to get an A. However, due to a little deception I found Dusten awaiting his target in the foyer (a target that would never arrive). He was dressed in black (menacing scarf and all) as if to point out that he was the “bad guy” in this attack. Carefully I spun a web of deception in front of his eyes, making it appear that I thought I personally was his target (thus implying I didn’t have him). I waited for him to slip under the guise that I was waiting for my study partner. Sure enough he stepped two feet outside the door. Like a flash I stepped out, slamming the door behind me and stuck him while he was still looking into the darkness. I would pay money for a video tape of his reaction thereafter.

Dusten, I’m sorry for the sleep that you lost that night (true story actually), and I commend you on a valiant game. Oh yeah, you should get out more (I realized during this mission that you really don’t leave…). Nice job Dusten!

I was enjoying Brandeis Brunch when I saw her…my target. I’d seen her many times before in the dining hall, but she always chose to enter back through Swanson, thus foiling my plans. But not this time. I watched her put her coat on, then a scarf, and then to top it all off, a hat. She had to be going outside. I suddenly was caught off guard, and realized that I didn’t have any stickers. I grabbed at my friend’s banana peel, hoping for a sticker, but it was no where to be found. My other friend had the brilliant idea of looking on her apple. She was successful, and handed me the weapon. I casually got up and followed her out of Brandeis, and into the blistering cold. I stuck her on the left shoulder as she walked down the steps. I then re- entered Brandeis, and joined my friends for some more fellowship.

It was sly, it was fast, he never saw it coming. Coyly, I followed my target ever so closely on the stairs inside the administration building after a class we had together, then immediately stickered him as he unknowingly took his last safe steps outdoors.

After missing my target on her way to class last Tuesday, I was beginning to let down my guard. It had been serveral weeks, and not so much as a failed stickering from my assassin. I let down my guard. Granted I don’t think I would have exitied the admin building any other way, thinking the threat was minimal after a night class. But alas I am dissapearing even as we speak. Who would think that a small sticker to the shoulder could fell me? But the sticker is more potent than I realized. Fear the sticker!

I thought I was untouchable. I didn’t even have a chance to evade the attack. Then I heard the words, “Are you Eric?” Cringing, I said “yes.” That was it. A ResLife sticker was planted on my left shoulderblade and that is where is it remains, a symbol of my defeat. My attacker vanished into the cold, gray sky as quickly as she had appeared behind me.

Java Jay sounds good for dinner, right? It’s never been better than tonight. I found myself in the lobby heading out the door for McGloin, and then all of the sudden my friend gets really excited and tells me that my target just walked out the door. I fumbled around for a sticker, and then bolted out the door after her. I ran up behind her, and gently placed the sticker on her shoulder…well, I don’t exactly know how gentle it was, but nonetheless- – stuck. Mission accomplished, and might I add that she looked stunning. I feel really bad about disappearing such a beautiful girl…but it had to be done.

After narrowly escaping death, my previous assassin was out for revenge. Clearly mocking him in the Swanson lobby was not in my best interest this particular night. Little did I know that I was endangering my life… My friends and I were late for our soiree, so we were quickly heading to the car. All of the sudden I heard an evil cackle from behind me and I turned swiftly around trying to dodge the oncoming sticker. There was no escaping, and Bong the Great had conquered another innocent, helpless soul. Thanks to her 605 is officially six feet under.

He immediately saw what I was doing and started running. Being an extremely talented sprinter, I caught him within seconds….no actually, that didn’t happen. Then, mere hours later, while I was in Deglman Circle waiting to go on a trip to Walgreen’s, she appeared. My friend started hitting me uncontrollably, and told me to chase after her. I fumbled for my sticker, and bolted out of the car. I placed the little star- shaped sticker right on her, thus ending my hunt.

I disappeared as I was being dropped off in Deglman circle after attending the NCAA selection show (and being a supportive mom). I was asleep this afternoon in my neutral zone, taking a break from the incredibly strenuous calculus assignment I had been working on, when my best friend in the world woke me up, shaking me and saying “your targets right there!! your targets right there!!!” I quickly snapped out my nap, saw my target in a nearby room, and switched into “attack mode.” I heard my target’s friend say they were going to Sam and Louie’s for dinner, so I complained of hunger and asked if I could go with them. We rode the elevator down and as we walked outside, I stickered him! The rush of the attack was amazing, and it would not have been possible without my best friend in the world!

So what can I say, I was working on a research paper with one of my friends on Saturday afternoon. I was just leaving the library and I just happened to come accross one of my “suppose friends.” Coming to find out, my “friend” wasn’t such a nice person, and before I could run back into the library for safety, he got me. The dark is generous, and it is patient. The dark’s patience is infinite. Eventually, even stars burn out. I am the patient darkness.

My target had remained elusive to my capture for quite some time, even though my roommate and my suitemate knew her. She made the mistake of leaving her facebook picture and schedule up. After a little research on the registrar’s website, I had her entire schedule. But it was not until today after her class in Hixson- Lied that I actually saw her come out of a classroom. She walked out and was immediately on her cell phone, I thought perfect, she’ll be too distracted to notice me. Then she started off one way, only to stop at a garbage can to drop off a pop can to then turn around, and get off the cell. I was flustered because I didn’t want to appear too obvious. She walked out with a friend from class only to stop off at another classroom to say hi to someone where again I had to pause and pretend to be interested in the bulletin boards on the wall. Then she continued on her way, I hung back so as not to arouse suspicion. Then as she left the safety of the building for the area behind the Hitchcock building, I made my move. Bolting out of the building, I stuck her left shoulder with the disappearing sticker. Quite instantly she disappeared before my eyes. Now I wait, in the darkness once again, for my next target.

Man, did he get me! Reading his report was kind of funny, because I never even knew that he was there after my class. I didn’t see it coming. I think that people should put up fake facebook pictures and schedules to protect their identities. You never know who could be out there waiting for you!

However, during that warm embrace, i had previously set up a series of pully systems in the trees and i had positioned her perfectly on the “x” i had taped on the ground. I watched as my sticker gloriously flew down from the sky and unnoticeably applied it’s sticky self to her. Still whispering sweet nothings into her ear, i slowly whispered to her that “i killed mufasa.” She was in shock, and asked for the sticker as a token of our moment together. She then slowly turned to leave, and I watched as she disappeared into the sunset.

We both have morning classes, but I get off at 10:30 and she has a class at 10:30. Promptly after my class I went to our room to figure out my plan. She unwittingly left her class schedule out on her desk, but it only had the class and not the teacher or the location. Using my eternally innovative mastermind, I went to the registrar’s site and looked up the class- – it was in the library. 10 minutes before her class let out I scoped out the area and found the perfect location to wait for my target. I sat in my stealth with my hood up behind the rose bushes on the mall near the library front doors. I watched her carelessly walk out with someone and when she was far enough away from the doors, I jumped up, ran through the bushes and over the hills, jumped off the ledge and smacked her in the back with a bright flower smiley face sticker. Because Kara is such a stud and was never taken out of the game my frustration was building… but just after their half- time huddle I rushed the field and got her right before the second half started! She said she knew someone was going to get her tonight, which was probably the work of El Presidente Brand =), so I hope that didn’t inhibit her ability to focus on the football game at hand. Go Dukes!

So i heard through a random source that my assassin was planning on making her move within the next 24 hours. I had a HUGE flag football game that night and i knew that was when she was going to make a move. I was just minding my own business, focusing on my coach giving us a pep talk during half time, when all of a sudden I felt a poke on my back. Right then and there i knew it was over. My life had finally ended. I screamed in pain, “NOOOOO! I HATE YOU!!” then someone that is on my team (who was helping her plan her great attack) ran up to me and started to hug me and laugh. THat is when i screamed, “I hate you all!” as a gasped my last breath. Then some how i came back from the dead and finished the second half of the game. Unfortunately we lost the game, i guess i wont blame it on my assassin, but the DUKES WILL ASSEMBLE FOR NEXT YEAR…EVERYONE BEWARE!!!

After my previous attempt, which was… premature, I finally managed to disappear my target. Through sources unnamed, I learned that my target was attending swing dance practice. I waited patiently for nearly an hour outside the building then, when she left, I crept up, ninja- like, and made the kill. (for real this time)

My friends and I were leaving swing dance practice and had made another friend believe I was his assassin. He took off running and his real assassin, who had been hiding in the bushes, followed. The rest of us ran after him but stopped for a lost flip- flop, not knowing there was also another assassin who had been hiding in the bushes…mine.

Chase Sokol was disappeared on November 8, 2005 around 11 a.m. He was sitting on the bench in front of the administration building enjoying the beautiful weather when I came up beside him and placed a happy face sticker on his shirt.

So I was helping at the pike 5 on 5 basketball table today and of course I was worried about people sneaking up on me. I was a sitting duck for goodness sakes. It pretty much made my day when Jordan walked down the stairs on the mall. I pulled out my stickers and got ready for him to walk by. We both acknowledged each other and then he continued walking. I covertly walked up behind him and gave him a fatal sticker. Right when I hit him I knew he wasn’t going to walk away from the attack and he gave up his stickers and target without a fight.

Upon discovering the identity of my target, I started formulating a plan for his demise. After some recon, I discovered his probable whereabouts and put myself in position. Matt Ward assisted in luring the target to my location (Swanson Lobby) where I followed him outside, snuck up behind him, and stickered him. My apologies to him, but that’s how it goes.

She waited for me in the Swanson Lobby, and followed me after I left to go to dinner. She then started using vulgar profanity to throw me off guard, and snuck up behind me, and offed me in the back of the head. Whenever I do rounds, I’m going to listen to her door really carefully and maybe, if her door is open, I’ll do something horrible like put a candle in her room. A warning to you residents, don’t sticker RAs!
