The game consists of players iteratively stickering their targets while attempting to avoid their own assassin. The last player alive is the winner or the person who has stickered the most people by Winter Break.
You can sticker a person only by successfully sticking a sticker on their person.
When stickering, please try very hard to not actually hurt anyone or damage anyone’s possessions.
No one is allowed to sticker your target but yourself. Others may “take stickers” for you but they cannot actually sticker anyone.
Safe Zones are areas in which you cannot sticker or be stickered by anyone. If someone attempts to sticker you in a safe zone, please inform him that you are in a safe zone and that their “sticker” is invalid.
Your target is the person you are currently assigned to kill. When you kill your target, you will be assigned a new target. When the game begins, you will be sent an e-mail which contains your target’s information (name and email address). You will be given a new target within 24 hours of a valid reported kill.
When you eliminate someone, either while executing your mission or defending yourself from an attacker, you should report it as soon as possible to the game administrators via email. The report will be posted on the status page of your game for all to enjoy! The display space by the lobby elevator will show game status.
Realistically, the victim has no real motivation to report his death. Therefore, if the stickerer reports the elimination before the victim has, the victim will be notified and will have to dispute or confirm. If the victim does not act, the game’s administrators will assume that he does not dispute the stickering, and the victim will be noted as eliminated.
However, we strongly encourage all players to report their successful stickers and deaths as soon as possible so that games can run smoothly.
When you are stickered, your alias and user account will be publicly linked and everyone will be able to see who you actually were. If you are eliminated, we ask that you exit the game politely and with good sportsmanship; there will be many opportunities to play again.
Also, when you get stickered, your assassin (the player targetting you) will be reassigned to target the player that you were targetting. The website can handle this process, but it requires intervention of the administrator.
